Our Heavy Duty+ entrance mats feature an extra-thick 2.8mm rubber backing, making them ideal for extremely high-traffic spaces such as supermarkets, shopping centres, and busy retail stores.

They trap dirt, water and debris at the door, keeping floors safe, clean and welcoming, even under constant footfall.

Their mottled nylon surface is made from 100% regenerated ECONYL® fibres, forming a robust, shape-retaining pile that stands up to heavy daily use. Heavyweight and fully washable, they’re built to last, even in the busiest environments.

We also offer Heavy Duty+ printed logo mats, which feature the same extra-thick rubber backing and can be fully customised with your logo, graphics, and background colour. Contact our team for more information or if you’re looking for a specific colour and we’ll help you find the perfect match.

Rent Your Mats to Spread The Cost

Our heavy-duty+ entrance mats are also available to rent. Our mat rental service includes regular cleaning and allows you to spread the cost of your mats. Used mats will be picked up at your chosen interval and replaced with freshly cleaned mats! Just drop us a message to ask about mat rental.

Please note that custom sizes will take up to 8 working days to deliver, as they are bespoke and handmade.

Pile yarn: Manufactured from 100% ECONYL® regenerated nylon (BCF polyamide), made from twisted, heat-stabilised multifilament fibres.

Pile height: Approximately 10 mm.

Total mat weight: Approx. 2.335 kg per square metre.

Size Tolerance:  All our loose lay nitrile rubber mats have a size variance of +/- 2%

Backing

Base material: Durable nitrile rubber backing containing 34% post-industrial recycled content within the compound. Free from phthalates and engineered to deliver excellent oil resistance, long service life and stable performance. Compression moulded with strengthened edging on all sides.

Overall backing thickness: Approx. 2.8 mm.

Border

Edge thickness: Around 2.5 mm.

Edge width: Approximately 20 mm (2 cm) all round.

Safety

Electrostatic performance: Antistatic surface behaviour of roughly 10¹¹ ohms (tested to ISO 10965).

Personal charge generation limited to approx. 2 kV (tested to ISO 6356).

Return Policy

You may cancel your order prior to shipment or within 7 working days of delivery. (Working days exclude weekends and public holidays). Notification of cancellation must be in written form (by letter or email), notification by telephone is not sufficient. (This is in accordance with the Distance Selling Regulations 2000).

Notification of cancellation may be sent via email: sales@ukmats.co.uk or by post to UK Mats Ltd, Unit 1, Edmonds Road, Lane End, Buckinghamshire, HP14 3EN

Where goods are returned for reasons other than error on our part, damage or loss, you are liable for the return shipping costs. If any goods prove to be unsuitable, please return them within 7 days in the original packaging and in an unused condition for full refund less any postage costs.

For custom mats that have been made to order, your automatic right to return lapses, unless the product is faulty in which a full refund or replacement will be issued. (This is in accordance with The Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013)

Orders for standard mats can be cancelled any time prior to dispatch with no charge. Orders cancelled after this time will be subject to carriage charges. Please be aware that any custom mats (mats altered from standard to suit your specification) are exempt from your right to cancel.
