Return Policy

You may cancel your order prior to shipment or within 7 working days of delivery (working days exclude weekends and public holidays). Notification of cancellation must be in writing by letter or email. In accordance with the Distance Selling Regulations 2000, notification by telephone is not sufficient.

Where goods are returned for reasons other than error on our part, damage or loss, you are liable for the return shipping costs. If any goods prove to be unsuitable, please return them within 7 days in the original packaging and in an unused condition for a full refund, minus postage costs.

For custom mats that have been made to order, your automatic right to return lapses, unless the product is faulty, in which a full refund or replacement will be issued. This is in accordance with The Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.

Orders for heavy-duty rubber-backed mats can be cancelled any time prior to dispatch with no charge. Orders cancelled after this time will be subject to carriage charges. Please be aware that any custom mats (mats altered from standard sizes to suit your specification) are exempt from your right to cancel.

How do I measure my matwell for coir matting?

Measure the length and width of your matwell at several points, as the sides may not be perfectly straight, even if your matwell is square. You should also check the depth to ensure the matting will sit correctly within the recess.

Does my matwell need to be 17mm deep?

Not necessarily. Our coir matting is 17mm thick, but it may be possible to accommodate different matwell depths using a rubber crumb underlay. Ideally, the finished mat should sit flush with the surrounding floor.

How long do coir mats last?

Coir matting is a natural product and will gradually wear with heavy use. Most plain coir mats are replaced every three years or so depending on foot traffic and how well they are maintained. In domestic settings with lighter foot traffic, they can last considerably longer.

Will coir matting shed fibres?
